Drop an image into each box or use Choose image. Put the original in Image 1 and the edited version in Image 2. For the clearest comparison, use images of the same scene with matching dimensions and framing.

Pick a mode and inspect
Choose Offline for a local comparison, or Public to create a shareable link. Drag the divider to switch between versions. Use Zoom in, Zoom out and Reset view to inspect small details without losing your place.
Share only when you want to
Public mode uploads your images and creates a link you can copy. Anyone with that link can view them. Offline mode does not create a public link. An account lets you manage your public uploads and save favorites.
What to look for in a comparison
Photo edits
Compare exposure, color and retouching against the original. Inspect the same edge or shadow in both versions instead of relying on memory as you switch between separate windows.
Compression and resizing
Look around lettering, fine textures and high-contrast edges for lost detail or compression artifacts. Match the source framing first: a size or crop change can make a visual comparison misleading.
Design revisions
Use matching screenshots to review spacing, alignment and visual changes. This is a visual inspection tool, not an automated pixel-difference score or a substitute for testing a working interface.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Public and Offline?
Public sends the selected images to the server to create a shareable comparison. Offline uses the selected images inside your browser without uploading them through the comparison tool. Offline mode is not a promise that the whole website makes no network requests: see Privacy for information about site services.
Do I need an account?
No. You can compare images without signing in. A free account adds a dashboard for your public uploads and lets you favorite public comparison links.
Are public links private or password protected?
No. Anyone who has a public link can open it and view the images. Do not upload confidential documents, private photos or other sensitive files in Public mode. Use Offline when you do not want to publish the comparison.
Does the tool automatically find every difference?
No. The divider, zoom and pan controls help you inspect the images yourself. The tool does not provide an automated difference percentage, verify authenticity or automatically align mismatched photographs.
Why do the images not line up?
Different crops, camera positions and image dimensions can move the subject between versions. Prepare matching crops and dimensions before comparing. Reset view returns you to the starting view; it does not align the source images.
